On discovering the Fritzing freeware circuit prototyping application on the network at work this week.

I have drafted new versions of my home network sensor circuits using the application and uploaded them to my sensors page.

The three circuits are for a Reed Switch, PIR Module and Pressure Mat connected to a Raspberry Pi computer. For example here is the Reed Switch Schematic and Breadboard Prototype.

The breadboard diagram details the wiring between the Raspberry Pi, Breadboard and Reed Switch.

I have created a FM Music Transmitter using a miniature USB FM Transmitter and a Raspberry Pi.

Some simple bash scripts are written to select a random tract from a playlist and play it through the FM Transmitter. I also output details of the tract to the connected LED Matrix displays.

I have added another page to the Stock Price project detailing a horse race between discs and memory within MySQL.

I used a logging script to capture the resource usage for every second and used a timestamp table to record the progress of the SQL scripts.

The results were loaded in to Excel and a pivot chart was generated.
